My Contribution

I conceived and facilitated this customized workshop as part of the Escola Nacional de Seguros' Faculty Academy, adapting the "Ser Irresistível" methodology to the specific challenges of higher education teaching. I designed the pedagogical experience, developed all experiential activities, and guided participants through a sequence of practical exercises focused on body awareness, voice, communication, listening, and classroom presence.

Project Overview

Developed for the Faculty Academy of Escola Nacional de Seguros, Carpe Diem – Creative Strategies for an Irresistible Class was a customized professional development program created for higher education instructors.

Inspired by the principles of the Ser Irresistível methodology, the workshop was tailored specifically to the educational context, recognizing that every organization requires a unique combination of activities and learning experiences.

The program explored how body awareness, vocal expression, emotional perception, communication, and interpersonal dynamics influence teaching performance and student engagement. Rather than focusing on traditional teaching techniques, the workshop emphasized experiential learning through movement, group dynamics, reflective exercises, and collaborative activities.

The project was delivered in both São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with four in-person sessions in each city, complemented by online activities as part of the Faculty Academy program. According to the institution, the initiative aimed to strengthen both pedagogical and behavioral competencies among its teaching staff, supporting faculty development in response to the changing demands of higher education.
